KARACHI: Ghinwa backs OIC call

Published October 13, 2003

KARACHI, Oct 12: The Chairperson of PPP-SB, Ms Ghinwa Bhutto, has urged the United States to withdraw its forces from Afghanistan and Iraq to pave the way for peace in the two countries.

In a statement, she welcomed the OIC call asking the US to withdraw its forces. She described the move as a wise and bold step.

She said the US and its allies must now realize that no country could be subjugated by force.

The growing resistance by Iraqi people has proved that no civilized and independence-loving people can ever be ready to surrender its independence, she observed. — Staff Reporter
