KARACHI, Oct 11: The Sindh government has earmarked Rs110 million for four new special road schemes in Karachi during the current fiscal.

This was stated by advisor to Sindh chief minister on forest and wildlife, Syed Ejaz Ali Shah Shirazi, while talking to people who met him at his office here on Saturday.

He said of the amount Rs27.990 million have been allocated for dualization of Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road, Rs18.700 million for rehabilitation and improvement of Shaheed Sibghatullah Shah Road from National Stadium to Drive-In Cinema, Rs15 million for improvement/up-gradation of roads from Hino Chowk to Quaidabad and Rs48.310 million for construction, improvement and widening of Hawkesbay Road (Grax Village to Hawkesbay beach).

He assured that present government will make every endeavour to solve their problems and provide maximum facilities to ease the sufferings of common man in the province.

Mr Shirazi said that during the past regimes, some particular areas got the privilege of development while certain areas were neglected for political reasons.

This government was paying equal attention and providing basic necessities of life to every citizen without any discrimination, he added.

He urged the people to fully cooperate with the present government which has plays a vital role in the implementation of public welfare schemes, effectively.—APP
