Wapda dominate
SADIQABAD, Oct 6: In the 43rd National Table Tennis championship matches currently under way at Rahimyar Khan, Pakistan Army and Wapda have qualified for the final in the women’s team events, while Wapda and Punjab will play the final in the men’s team events.
The Army beat Railways in the women’s team events, while Wapda beat Punjab during the semifinals. In the men’s team encounters, Wapda vanquished Railways, and Punjab beat Punjab Colours to reach the final.
All events of the tournament are being played at the Sheikh Zayed Auditorium, Rahimyar Khan.—APP
