HYDERABAD, Oct 1: The Sindh government, according to the Additional Relief Commissioner, Sindh, has issued a notification declaring the villages of Tando Bago, Shaheed Fazil Rahu, Talhar, Matli and Badin Talukas of Badin district as calamity-hit.

The villages of Jati, Shah Bandar, Ghorabari, Keti Bundar and Kharochan Talukas of Thatta district have been declared calamity-hit whereas only 30 villages of Mirpur Sakro Taluka have been declared affected.

These are Gharibabad 1, 2, 3 and 4, Khetikun, Kunno, Kakrand, Makhjaro, Pat Marho, Lakha, Mulapota, Dubo, Sinhoro, Kalar Sarkari, Masoodi, Dhandhi, Piniladho Shah, Khaghan, Pumbri, Milko, Halathi, Ladu, Verho Jagir, Dandhro, Hanjtal, Kajri, Morajhar, Ghaghi, Rajwah and Balki.

Twenty-five villages of Mirpur Bathoro Taluka have also been notified as affected. These are Moojri, Larhoharho, Lyari, Kamaro, Junejo, Sandhanji, Kumhgadhi, Damri, Sonheri, Amra, Chelryoon, Kukrath, Karimpu, Parhiarki, Abral, Laikpur West, Tarai, Charbati, Dalidal, Gunero, Hussainpur, Choubandi, Dachri, Kutkia and Liakpur East.

Ninteen villages of Sujawal Taluka, namely Udhejan, More, Dadwah, Choubandi Waso Shah, Dhambrolo, Budho Talpur, Muradpur, Miranpur, Bollo, Khazano, Vikia, Bijoro, Lyaro, Chachato, Kharar, Bhusta, Piniladho, Abad and Gul Bahar have been declared hit.

Thirty-five villages of Thatta Taluka have been declared calamity-hit. These are Thatta, Kalanko Rayati, Kalankot Jagir, Khakhar Hala, Nareja, Samohi, Markha, Haleja, Halath, Samaki, Tanka, Domani East, Domani East Rayate, Domani West, Thahimani, Juna-I, Kotri Purani, Udhejani, Chato Chand, Sonda, Gujjo, Sonheri, Tarki, Kouri, Hallayia, Shakhani, Lakhi, Koor, Jherruck, Rajo Nizamzani, T. H. Shah, Juma-II and Soof Shoro.

In Tharparkar district, entire Diplo Taluka and 9 villages of Mithi Taluka, namely Mithi, Pabohar, Lakhmiyar, Bhakus, Chaho, Jhun, Giryanchho, Naukot and Wassaipota have been declared as calamity-affected.
