Two friends injured at mosque

SAHIWAL, Sept 28: Two persons were injured after being clubbed by unidentified people at a mosque, here on Sunday.

Muhammad Ramzan and his friend, according to reports, were asleep at the mosque opposite the Grain Market when the assailants clubbed them. They were admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital in critical condition.

The Grain Market police have yet to ascertain the motive.

It is reported that this mosque’s prayer leader was killed here five years ago, and the police closed the chapter by describing it as terrorism. They have yet to arrest the suspects.
