LAHORE, Sept 27: Acidified milk is being sold in tetra packs in the name of fruit drink without any fruit ingredient.
The milk is available in a number of fruit flavours and is being consumed by the unsuspecting consumers.
Companies marketing spurious fruit drink are printing the pictures of different fruits on the packs to hoodwink consumers but ingredients printed on the packs to meet the Pure Food Ordinance condition reveal that only acidified milk is being offered for sale through misbranding.
