KARACHI: Hijackings in a week


KARACHI, Sept 21: Bandits either hijacked or stole 102 vehicles — 31 cars and 71 motorcycles — during the past one week in various parts of the metropolis.

According to the police statistics, 16 cars were taken away at gunpoint by the bandits, and 15 others were stolen in Nazimabad, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Gulistan-i-Johar, F.B Area, Clifton, Defence, Jamshed Quarters, Saddar, etc.

Twenty-nine motorcycles were hijacked and 42 stolen in Gulberg, New Karachi, Defence, Korangi, Landhi, Lyari, North Nazimabad, Nazimabad, Saddar, Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Aziz Bhatti and other areas. — Staff Reporter
