KARACHI: Painting contest

KARACHI, Sept 20: The annual poster and painting contest for the students of primary and secondary schools will be organized next month.

The competition would be organised by Japan Cultural centre of Consulate General of Japan, in collaboration with the Cultural and Sports Wing of the city government.

An announcement said the theme of the contest was: “Pakistani traditional folk craft and Japanese traditional folk craft.”

The last date for submitting entries is Oct 3. The prize awarding ceremony will be held on Oct 16 at the Frere Hall.

The exhibition will remain open to public from Oct 16 to 18.—APP
