KARACHI, Sept 19: The Karachi Water Sewerage Board on Friday awarded a contract of K-III for the improvement of supply of water to the city to Siemens-KSB-Builders Associates Consortium, says a press release.

It adds that the KWSB managing director, Brig Asif Ghazali, the project manager of the KWSB, Amjad Habib, managing director of Siemens Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui, and director of Builders Associate Abdul Haiy Khan, and other members of the KWSB project team were also present on the occasion.

According to the press release, the Greater Karachi Bulk Water Supply Scheme Phase V, Stagell, 2nd 100mgd K-III project comprises construction of Dhabeji and North East Karachi Pumping Stations on EPC turnkey basis.
