Diamond, Punjab in last eight

ISLAMABAD, Sept 15: Diamond Club and Punjab made it to the quarterfinals of the Islamabad Cricket Association President Cup as did XI Star and Asif Memorial.

At the Marghazar Ground, Diamond edged out Services by 27 runs while Punjab handed Imran Memorial a crushing 157-run defeat.

Elsewhere, XI Star knocked out All Youngstar by 64 runs and Asif Memorial scored a 35-run win over Ghouri.
