LAHORE: PU exam regulations

LAHORE, Sept 13: The Punjab University’s deans of faculties and principals of its constituent colleges reviewed at a meeting on Saturday the regulations for assessment and evaluation in the annual and semester systems examination.

They also discussed the internal peer review system in the light of curriculum development guidelines, prepared by the university.

They reviewed the methodology for assessment in which the mid-term tests, attendance, tutorials, assignments, seminars, workshops and laboratory work would be graded for sent up tests for the final examination in the annual system.

The meeting also discussed steps for the promotion of research in the university.

Vice-Chancellor Arshad Mahmood, who presided over the meeting, directed the deans and principals to implement the recommendations of the committees for internal peer review. —Reporter
