Rubin books semifinal spot


NUSA DUA (Indonesia), Sept 12: Chanda Rubin moved into the quarterfinals of the WTA tournament on Friday while Angelique Widjaja failed to advance to the next round.

Rubin advanced to the semifinals with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Anca Barna and will meet Saori Obata from Japan on Saturday.
