KARACHI, Sept 12: Over 15,541 applicants will take written tests on September 21 for about 751 posts of lecturers—439 for men and 312 for women—lying vacant at the colleges of Sindh.
An official of the Sindh education department told PPI on Friday that the department had received over 15,541 applications for 751 seats of lecturers at intermediate and degree colleges of the province. They would be recruited on contractual basis.
The official said the College of Business Management (CBM) had been assigned the task to hold written tests of the candidates in Karachi, Dadu, Nosheroferoz, Thatta, Ghotki, Sanghar, Badin, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, and Shikarpur.
He said although no vacancy of lecturers was to be filled at intermediate and degree colleges in Hyderabad, Khairpur and Mirpurkhas, yet over 4,633 candidates from those cities had also applied for the posts.
