KARACHI, Sept 11: Judge Haq Nawaz Baloch of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC)-V on Thursday adjourned the hearing of killing case against four activists of the banned Lashkar-i-Jhangvi after recording the statement of the complainant.

The judge, who is holding trial in juvenile jail Karachi, fixed Sept 15 for recording statement of investigation officer of the case.

In his complainant Ali Akbar stated that he was informed that his nephew Mohammad Nazeer who was working as a security guard at Mehfil-i-Zainab Imambaragh had been shot dead by unidentified persons.

Having learnt this, he went to the hospital and received the body after autopsy. Defence counsel cross-examined the complainant.

The chief of the banned organization, Mohammad Ajmal alias Akram Lahori, Ataullah, Muhammad Azam and Malik Tassaduq are being tried on charge of killing a security guard on April 7, 2002.—PPI
