Qasimabad leads
HYDERABAD, Sept 4: Taluka Qasimabad is leading the points table followed by Taluka Latifabad and Taluka Hyderabad City after completion of seven out of eleven disciplines scheduled of the Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Hyderabad Sports Festival 2003.
According to points table, Taluka Qasimabad has so far clinched 30 points while Taluka Latifabad and Taluka Hyderabad City bagged 28 and 26 points.
Taluka Qasimabad has clinched the event of men and women badminton, men basketball and table tennis Men and finished third in women table tennis, men and women volleyball.
Taluka Latifabad secured first position in volleball women, clinched second position in badminton women, basketball men, table tennis men and women and volleyball men and bagged third position in badminton men.
Taluka Hyderabad City clinched first position in table tennis women, volleyball men, secured second position in badminton men and volleyball women while it gained third position in badminton women, basketball men and table tennis men.
The remaining four events bodybuilding, karate, shootingball and squash will be completed within couple of days.—APP
