KARACHI, Sept 2: JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company Limited (JCR-VIS) has upgraded the medium to long-term entity rating of KASB Bank Limited to BBB- (triple B minus) from BB+ (double B plus).

The short-term rating had been upgraded to A3 (A three) from B (single B) in April 2003 and has now been maintained, a press release said here Tuesday.

The bank’s medium to long-term rating has been assigned a ‘positive’ outlook and the ‘rating watch’ stands removed.—APP
