HYDERABAD, Sept 1: Wapda Hydro Electric Labour Union president Abdul Latif Nizamani has condemned Wapda for withdrawing the interim monthly allowance of Rs250 for the employees.

He was speaking to the Wapda employees at Labour Hall, Gari Khata, here on Monday.

He said that the Wapda authorities had resorted to anti-workers policies despite the fact that the workers had to risk their lives during their job.

The provincial office-bearers of the union, Mohammad Iqbal Kaimkhani, Qazi Saleem Anwar, Mir Khan Baloch, Malik Sultan and others, also spoke on the occasion.

The meeting decided to take out a protest procession in the city on Sept 10 against Wapda’s policies.
