KARACHI, Aug 31: The housing project zone of the House Building Finance Corporation, which caters to the flat projects of Karachi has started an awareness campaign to apprise people of its investment schemes and provide information at the doorstep of its customers.

As part of the campaign a camp was set up at Gulshan Chowrangi here on Sunday. The camp started at 9am and remained open till 10pm under the supervision of general manager Mujahid Zameer.

A large number of people from Gulshan-i- Iqbal, Metroville-III, Abul Hassan Ispahani Road and F.B.Area visited the camp. Information regarding the status of accounts and registration of investment applications for Shandar Ghar, a very well received scheme introduced by the HBFC for renovation of houses/ flats on the occasion of its golden jubilee, was given on the spot and computer receipts were issued to the applicants.

It has been decided to continue the camping in the coming months in different localities of the city.—APP
