Prisoner shot dead in front of court

QUETTA, Aug 30: A prisoner, Mohammed Saeed, was killed in front of the court of a judicial magistrate here on Saturday.

He was being brought to the court from jail when two armed men opened fire, killing him on the spot.

The assailants attempted to flee but a police guard overpowered one of them. He was arrested and identified as Dilawar. His accomplice, however, succeeded to escape.

The cause of killing was stated to be old enmity.
