NBP directors

KARACHI, Aug 30: The government has appointed the following directors on the Board of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) for a period of three years with immediate effect: Iftikhar Ali Malik (Punjab), Syed Arshad Chaudhry (Punjab), Syed Shafqat Ali Shah Jamote (Sindh), Zubair Motiwala (Sindh), Sikandar Hayat Jamali (Balochistan).

Syed Ali Raza, president and CEO of NBP, will be chairman of the board, while the government of Pakistan will be represented by Dr Waqar Masood Khan, secretary incharge, Economic Affairs Division, says an NBP handout issued here on Saturday.—PPI
