PESHAWAR: Industrialist indicted

PESHAWAR, Aug 29: An accountability court here on Friday indicted an industrialist from Lahore, Seth Nisar, on the charges of tax evasion and loan default.

But the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges and decided to stand trial. The court presided over by Miftauddin Khan fixed Sept 13, for next hearing and summoned prosecution witnesses to appear before the court on the date.

The accused has already been granted bail by the Peshawar High Court a few months ago.

Seth Nasir was arrested from Lahore on Aug 21, 2002.—Bureau
