By Our Correspondent

ISLAMABAD, Aug 27: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has abolished the Accountability Court, Attock, which was specially created three years ago to try former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. The court would now function at Rawalpindi.

The court, which was housed at the 16th Century Attock Fort at the banks of Indus, was known for its high conviction rate where high profile politicians were tried for their alleged corruption.
