44 recovered from kiln

SIALKOT, Aug 27: District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Zafar Husain on Wednesday ordered release of 44 people, including five children, from the illegal detention of a bricks kiln owner of Daska tehsil.

Abdul Majeed had illegally detained 44 men, women and children at his bricks kiln in Peero Chak (Motra) village. A bailiff raided the bricks kiln, recovered the detained people and produced them before the judge who ordered their release.

Another bailiff recovered a youth from the illegal custody of police. Muhammad Yusaf had been illegally detained at Uggoki police station. The judge directed Uggoki police SHO to appear before the court on Thursday.
