KARACHI: Cable operators plan protest

KARACHI, Aug 27: The cable operators of the city will go out on strike for two days every moth from September till their demands are met by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority.

A press release issued by the Cable Operators Association of Pakistan on Wednesday says that the strike has been called off now that Pemra has agreed to have a dialogue with cable operators.

Negotiations between the cable operators of the country and Pemra will begin on Sept 1 or Sept 2, the press release says.
