PESHAWAR, Aug 27: NWFP Minister for Health Inayatullah has said that all vacant posts of specialists and doctors in different hospitals of the province would be filled soon.

He was speaking at a meeting convened to review affairs of the DHQ hospital, Karak.

Provincial minister Zafar Azam, health secretary Dr Ihsanullah Haq, MPA Mian Nisar Gul, chief planning officer, Karak DCO, Karak EDO and medical superintendent of the hospital attended the meeting.

Expressing concern over the state of DHQ hospital he underlined the need for proper steps to make the hospital more beneficial for the local people.

He held out an assurance that more specialists would soon be appointed in the Karak hospital.

The health minister also ordered preparation of a summary for the upgradation of the hospital into B category. He also directed the DCO and EDO to fill all vacant technical posts in the health department immediately.
