KARACHI, Aug 27: Sindh chief minister Ali Mohammed Mahar has sanctioned an annual financial assistance of Rs48,000 for noted singer Mujib Alam.

Mujib Alam has rendered valuable services in promoting Pakistan’s cultural traditions through singing.

The chief minister has also sanctioned financial assistance of Rs50,000 for the seriously ill former Pakistan football captain, Muhammad Umer Baloch.—APP
