KARACHI: Kuwait sends goods for flood victims

KARACHI, Aug 26: Following a directive of the Amir of Kuwait, Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, and a decision taken at the Council of Ministers, the state of Kuwait is sending two shipments of relief goods for distribution among the flood victims in Sindh.

A press release of the Kuwait’s consulate general in Karachi said that two aircraft of the Kuwait Air Force, carrying the relief goods, would reach the Quaid-i-Azam International Airport by the end of this month. One aircraft would arrive at 9.30am on Saturday and the other at 1pm on Sunday.

Consul General of Kuwait Abdul Karim Yaqoob Aboghaith would hand over the goods to Pakistani officials.
