KARACHI: Jails security tightened


KARACHI, Aug 24: Following the bloody incident at Sialkot jail in Punjab, the authorities in Sindh have strengthened security measures at all the prisons of the province.

The authorities have banned entry and movement of unauthorised persons in the prison. Working of prisoners as Muqadam and Munshi in office blocks has also been banned, according to sources at the inspectorate of prisons.

Judges holding courts inside prisons will be provided extra security. — PPI
