Two shot dead

KHAIRPUR, Aug 23: Two people were killed by 10 armed men on Wednesday in the limits of Tando Masti police.

They were kidnapped with five other people from the guest house of the Khanpur Union Council Nazim, Naban Phulpoto, in Koro Phulpoto village.

The armed men took them to a mango orchard at a distance of one kilometre from the village near the Tando Masti bypass.

Those killed were identified as Ahmed Phulpoto, 14, nephew of the Nazim, and Ali Dino Phulpoto, 41.

Five other hostages were set free. An old enmity was said to be the motive behind the incident.

KARO-KARI: A woman, Tajal, 21, wife of Illahi Bux Mohammadani, was killed by her cousin, Abdul Karim, in Shoukat Bhamboro village in the jurisdiction of Chondiko police station on Wednesday on the pretext of Karo-kari.
