LAHORE, Aug 22: The Data Ganj Bakhsh Town Council will hold its monthly meeting at the town office on Lower Mall here on Saturday morning due to refusal of the City District Government to allow it to meet at Nadir Hall of the District Nazim Office.
The Data Ganj Bakhsh Town administration had approached the CDG for holding its monthly meeting at the Nadir Hall, where it has been holding its meetings for the past two years. The request was, however, turned down because Town Nazim Khwaja Hassaan will be attending the meeting after grant of a stay order by the Lahore High Court.
The council will discuss motions in respect of inclusion of sanitation fee in the water supply bills, imposition of a ban on one-wheeling and change of name of a city street.
