KARACHI: Man crushed to death

KARACHI, Aug 22: A man died in a road traffic accident in Site on Friday.

Police said that Mohammad Fayyaz, 35, was knocked down by a trailer (PT-0253) near railway crossing in Site. His body was shifted to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Later, police arrested the errant trailer driver.

BODY FOUND: A decomposed body was washed ashore near Natives Jetty on Friday. Police said that the body was unidentifiable. It was handed over to the Edhi Foundation for burial, police added.

ROBBED: A mobile phone-cum-computer shop was robbed by two unknown persons in Gulshan-i-Iqbal on Friday.

Owner of the cafe Mairaj said that two unidentified armed men barged into the shop located in Block-4 of Gulshan-i-Iqbal. They held the inmates hostage and took away mobile phones, watches and a motorcycle (KAQ-2358).
