CBR transfers, postings

ISLAMABAD, Aug 22: The Central Board of Revenue has transferred and posted 43 collectors, deputy collectors and assistant collectors.

According to the CBR notifications, Nadir Khan Hoti transferred and posted as collectors of ST & CE, Rawalpindi; Mehmood Alam, chief CBR, Islamabad; Hussain Ahmad Sherazy, collector, Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU), Karachi; Abdul Waheed Khan, collector of customs (Appraisement), Karachi, made OSD; Muhammad Afzal Bhatti, collector of customs (Preventive), Karachi; Sohail Afzal, collector (HQ), sales tax, Karachi; Liaquat Ally Agha, collector of customs, Peshawar; Anwarul Haq, chief CBR, Islamabad; Fazal Qadir Qalbani, collector of customs, ST & CE (Adjudication-II), Karachi; Lutfullah Virk, project director, LTU, Lahore; Mehboob Saqib, collector of customs (Appraisement), Karachi; Javed Iqbal Mirza, collector of customs, ST & CE (Adjudication-III), Karachi; Muhammad Raza Baqir, collector of customs, Lahore; Muhammad Azhar, director, inspection and internal audit (Customs, ST & CE), Lahore; Azhar Majeed Khalid, project director, model customs collectorate, Karachi; Muhammad Arshad, controller of customs valuation, Karachi; Razia Sultana Tahir, director, directorate general of inspection and internal audit (customs, ST & CE), Karachi; Abdul Wadood Khan, collector of customs, Rawalpindi; Rana Muhammad Akhtar, collector of ST & CE, Gujranwala; Syed Ijaz Hussain, collector of sales tax, Faisalabad; and Raja Muhammad Akhtar Tahir, collector of customs, ST & CE (Adjudication), Lahore.

Similarly, the CBR posted nine collectors who were recently promoted from grade 19 to 20 — Khalid Mehmood-I posted as director, intelligence and investigation (Customs & Excise), Karachi; Ikramullah Ghauri, chief, CBR, Islamabad; Ahmad Dildar, chief, CBR, Islamabad; Hafiz Muhammad Jamil Owaisi, collector of customs, ST & CE (Adjudication), Faisalabad; Muhammad Ashraf Khan, collector of ST & CE, Lahore; Khwaja Tanveer Ahmad, collector (Enforcement), sales tax, Karachi; Nisar Muhammad, collector (Audit), sales tax, Karachi; Ghulam Ahmad, collector of ST & CE, Peshawar; Muhammad Zahiruddin, collector of customs, Sambrial/Sialkot.

The commissioner of income tax, companies-II, Lahore, Haji Ahmad transferred and posted as chief CBR, Islamabad.

The deputy collectors transferred and posted included: Hassan Sardar, deputy collector, collectorate of customs (Preventive), Karachi; Asim Majeed Khan, deputy collector, collectorate of ST & CE, Lahore; Abdul Malik, deputy collector, collectorate of customs, ST & CE (Adjudication), Lahore; Shafqat Ali Khan Niazi, deputy collector, collectorate of customs, ST, CE (Appraisement), Karachi; Mrs Sadia Nasim, deputy collector, collectorate of ST & CE, Gujranwala; Munib Sarwar, deputy collector, collectorate of customs, Sambrial/Sialkot; Muhammad Ali Raza, deputy collector, collectorate of ST & CE, Lahore; Usman Bajwa, deputy collector, model sales tax collectorate, Karachi; Ms Muneeza Majeed, assistant collector, collectorate of customs, Lahore; Syed Junaid Arshad, assistant collector, collectorate of customs, Lahore; Dr. Omar Mukhtar Khan, assistant collector, collectorate of ST & CE, Lahore; and Abid Hussain Hakro, assistant collector, collectorate of customs (Appraisement), Karachi.
