DADU, Aug 21: A boy was killed and at least four people were injured in rain-related incidents as different parts of Sindh received rains on Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

The rains caused power breakdowns and rendered telephone connections in various areas out of order. The rainwater also inundated roads and low-lying areas. In some areas, rainwater mixed with overflowing gutter water, making it difficult for the residents to wade through the filthy water.

In Dadu, different towns received rain on Wednesday night.

Seven-year-old Chanesar died and his brother, Amjad, was injured when a wall of the house of Mr Sultan fell on them.
