KARACHI: More rains forecast

KARACHI, Aug 21: The Met office, in a special bulletin on Thursday evening, said that the monsoon currents had become active again that might cause isolated rains in Sindh and eastern parts of Balochistan during next 48 hours.

After two days, another rainy system is likely to approach southern parts of the country with more rains in Sindh and adjoining areas of Balochistan.

The fishermen have been advised to remain careful on Aug 25, 26 and 27. The northeast Arabian sea conditions are likely to remain rough or very rough during those days.

Earlier, the Met office has forecast cloudy weather with chances of rain in Karachi and rain or thunderstorm in the rest of the region on Friday, Aug 22.

Maximum temperature is expected between 32°C and 34°C.
