Youth throws acid on girl


VEHARI, Aug 17: A youth on Sunday threw acid on a girl for refusing to develop relations with him in Burewala.

Yasin threw acid on his neighbour, Tawan Bibi, when she was passing through the street along with her sister. She sustained burn wounds and was admitted to hospital.

FOUR KILLED: Four people were killed in different incidents here on Sunday.

Ashraf, his son Irshad (17) and their employee were going on a motorcycle when they were hit by Fareed Express at railway crossing in Muhammad Nagar area. Ashraf and his son died on the spot.

Zarina Bibi (20) was shot dead by her brother, Abdul Rehman, allegedly for developing relations with a neighbour in Chak 52-WB, Vehari.

Shafiq (17) was electrocuted while repairing a fan in his house. He died on the spot. — Correspondent
