HYDERABAD: Second autopsy conducted

HYDERABAD, Aug 12: Doctors of the Hyderabad Civil Hospital’s medico-legal section on Tuesday conducted the postmortem of a woman for the second time on the demand of her father.

The body of Hina, 22, wife of Mohammad Shahid, was lying at the hospital’s morgue as her father, Ahmad Jilani, did not agree with her in-laws that she had committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan in her room.

The woman was found dead in her house in Ayub Colony, Latifabad-11, on Saturday night. The police and in-laws of the woman said she had committed suicide.

It was learnt that the A-section police had assured the deceased’s family that the case would be registered. The police could not be contacted.

SHOT DEAD: A man, Irshad Shah Pathan, was shot dead by Ameer Gul over a monetary dispute in Hashmi Colony in the jurisdiction of the Site police station on Monday night.

The accused has been arr-ested.
