By Our Reporter

RAWALPINDI, Aug 8: The twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad received an average 43 millimetre rain early Friday morning.

After a stuffy night, the pleasant rainfall was followed by wind-swept weather. Rawalpindi received slightly more rain than the federal capital.

The Met Office forecast more rains during the next 24 hours.

Civil Defence authorities reported six to seven feet of moderate intensity flood in Leh.
