MMA reviews arrangements for Aug 14 meeting

By Our Reporter

RAWALPINDI, Aug 8: The Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) public meeting on August 14 will turn out to be a landmark in elimination of ‘one-person rule’ and restoration of democracy in the country.

This was stated by the MMA vice-president, Mohammad Abbas Butt, while speaking at a meeting held to review the arrangements for the public meeting scheduled to be held at Liaquat Bagh.

The MMA leader said his party was fighting for the rights of the masses. The MMA will never allow any dictator to usurp the rights of the people, he added.

Abbas Butt said restoration of the democracy was in the overall interest of the people.
