KARACHI, Aug 7: All records both in terms of single-session volume and the index were broken on the Karachi Stock Exchange on Thursday on massive buying in all the pivotals aided by a possible deal between the government and the MMA.

The single-session turnover figure swelled to 959m shares and the KSE 100-share added another 112 points to its overnight tally at 4,205 after having broken two barriers and added Rs24bn to the market capitalization at Rs936bn.
