Aqif strikes twice

KARACHI, Aug 7: Two goals from Aqif and one by Abbas powered Computer Science Department into the final of the Karachi University Inter-departmental tournament beating Persian Department 3-0 in the semifinal played on Thursday.

Computer Science Department will now take on Health and Physical Education Department in the final to be played on Saturday at the Karachi University ground.

CRICKET: Two matches were decided in the Inter-Departmental cricket tournament played on Thursday at the Valika Ground. Microbiology beat International Relations by four runs while Food and Science defeated Faculty of Pharmacy by five wickets.

VOLLEYBALL: The following were the results of the matches on Thursday in the Inter-Departmental volleyball (boys) tournament.
