Rashid hopeful of talks

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, Aug 7: Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said on Thursday said that the government’s talks with the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal were heading in the right direction and they would yield a positive outcome.

Talking to newsmen here, he, however, refused to elaborate the “positive outcome.”

“Wait for some time, something good will come out,” he said in reply to questions.

He said a National Assembly session could be convened “soon.”

In reply to a question, he said: “It may be convened before Aug 14, but my emphasis is on the word soon.”
