KARACHI, Aug 6: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, on Wednesday declared the results of annual examinations of HSC (Part-I) Home Economics group and Diploma in Physical Education (DPE).
A total of 512 candidates appeared in HSC Home Economics exams, out of which 358 passed in all papers. Results of 15 students have been withheld for want of correction and complete information, said a BIE notification.
The breakdown of candidates passing different papers is as follows: Seven papers-358 candidates, Six-78, Five-32, Four-17, Three-9, Two-2 and one paper-1.
The pass percentage of candidates in Diploma in Physical Education exams stood at 45.83. A total of 24 candidates appeared in the exams, but none of them was placed in A-one or A grade.
According to BIE notification, only two candidates got B grade, while another two were placed in C grade and seven in D grade. Results of 10 candidates were withheld for want of complete information.
