Islamia College in semifinals

KARACHI, Aug 5: Islamia Arts and Commerce College advanced in the semifinal of Inter-collegiate cricket tournament overwhelming Government Degree College Landhi Korangi by 88 runs on Tuesday.

Muhammad Faheem (76) and Fawwad Alam (73) blasted sparkling half centuries as Islamia Arts and Commerce College mustered 222 for seven wickets in 40 overs.

Degree College Landhi, Korangi in reply were spun out for 134 in 29th over. Left arm spinner Adnan Sartaj captured four wickets for 35 runs and leg spinner Vinod Ramesh grabbed four for 42.
