HARIPUR, Aug 5: Armed bandits looted gold ornaments, cash and other valuables from a house in TIP housing colony here on Sunday.
Mir Afzal, an advocate, in his FIR lodged with the TIP housing scheme police station, said five bandits entered his house by scaling the boundary wall, locked the family members in a room at gunpoint and escaped with booty.
He said the robbers took away ornaments worth Rs100,000, cash, a mobile phone, camera, rifle and a pistol.—Correspondent
