Policemen suspended

PESHAWAR, Aug 2: All staff of Faqirabad police station was suspended on the charges of providing facilities to a kidnapper here on Saturday.

According to a press release, CCP chief Tanvir-ul-Haq Sipra, during a surprise visit to Faqirabad police station, found an alleged kidnapper Haleem, son of Mohammad Amin, a resident of Mohmand Agency, sitting in a side room along with his friends and holding a mobile telephone in his hand.

Mr Sipra immediately issued suspension orders of all the staff including SHO investigation Inspector Rahatullah and Sub-Inspector investigation Mohammad Anwar. The CCP chief also constituted a committee to investigate into the matter.
