KARACHI:Oldest theatre to perform in city on 13th


KARACHI, Aug 2: The oldest living theatre in the world, having a history of over 600 years, will be performing shortly in Karachi.

The Noh artists from Japan will be flying exclusively to Karachi to hold the sole performance in Pakistan at the FTC auditorium on August 13. The event is being held to mark the first anniversary of establishment of Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association, Sindh.

The nine-member troupe will perform Noh play for the first time in Pakistan.

The event will be a joint presentation by the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association, Sindh, and Japan Cultural Centre, Karachi, and supported by Japan Foundation.—PPI
