LAHORE, Aug 1: PML-Q President Shujaat Husain on Friday denied that he had any differences with Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali or that there was any move to remove him.
“There is no truth in such reports,” Shujaat said while talking to reporters on Friday.
He said on various occasions, he had expressed his principled difference of opinion both with the president and the prime minister. But, he said, it would be wrong to misinterpret the situation.
He said he had always wanted that the ruling party should work like a team.
Meanwhile, National Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Amir Husain and PML-Q leader Gen Majeed Malik (retired) called on Shujaat on Friday.
