KARACHI, July 28: An oil tanker, Swallow to unload crude oil was allotted berth at Fotco Oil Terminal during the last 24 hours, according to PQA press release on Monday.

Meanwhile, three more ships to load and offload containers and coal also arrived at outer anchorage.

Berth occupancy remained firm as six ships were busy in loading and offloading wheat, crude oil, edible oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 27,275 tons comprising 15,627 tons of import cargo and 11,648 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Hibiya Park, P&O Nedlloyed Damietta and MSC Carmen were expected to take berths at Multi Purpose Terminal and QICT, while Ginga Lanneer was due to arrive at port.

Sailing activity was slow as only one ship, Norwave, sailed out.
