KARACHI: Afghan among 3 killed

KARACHI, July 24: An Afghan national was stabbed to death over a dispute in Gulzar-i-Hijri on Thursday.

Police said Jalal, 24, was stabbed to death allegedly by Nadeem, who escaped after attacking Jalal with a dagger behind Al-Asif Square.

The injured was taken to the Abbasi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In North Nazimabad, a young man was shot dead, while resisting a car snatching bid.

Police said Shakil Khan, 19, was going in his car when he was intercepted by armed men near Husain De Silva Town. In their attempt to snatch his car, Shakil resisted. They opened fire at him and escaped along with his vehicle.

The young man was rushed to the Abbasi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

In Mohammadi Colony, a man was shot dead by his neighbour. Police said that Mohammad Akram, 36 was shot by Jamshed on playing loud music in his house.
