KARACHI, July 21: Danial Alvi and Talha Dar were fully extended by their battling opponents in the boys singles event of the on the second day of the Karachi Club Open ranking tournament played at Karachi Club on Monday.

Both were taken to three sets by Jehangir Rashid and Mustafa Ali before winning 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 and 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.

Hyderabad’s Ali Darbari made an impressive in the boys singles when he outplayed Salman Ahmed in two straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

Vinod Das too was taken to the distance by Rizwan Rajani in the men’s singles. He won 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
